Welcome to Ayr Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.
Formed in 1933, we celebrate 85 years this year of classes, dances and special events providing fun, fitness and friendship for all our Members and visiting dancers.
We run classes throughout South Ayrshire for all levels over the winter months – whether you're a beginner or have danced for many years. Social Dancing is held once a month and Introductory Classes run through the summer for 6 weeks. We are very lucky and have live music for all our classes. Our world renowned Summer Dancing is on Monday evenings from May to the end of August with music from several popular bands. We hold 3 Branch Dances throughout the year and a Day School every other year. Most dances and events are held in Troon Concert or Walker Hall which are easily accessible by road or rail.

For more information please check our website www.rscds-ayr.com

Ayr Branch is having Virtual Summer Dancing every Monday at 7.30pm www.ayr-rscds.com

Also Virtual Social Dancing on the 4th Saturday of every month at 7.30pm

Nearest Groups

The distances in this list are geodesic distances (“as the crow flies”) between places with dance groups, rather than road distances between dance venues. Also note that while there may be several dance groups in the same town or city, their dance venues may be distant from one another even though they are all lumped together under one marker on the map.
