Wyre Forest Scottish Country Dance Club (Bewdley)
We’re a friendly group of people who meet on Tuesday evenings, from September to May, for an informal dance class. We’re led by our fully qualified RSCDS teacher at Wribbenhall Parish Rooms, Bewdley. We start dancing at 7:30pm and finish at 9:30pm.
Currently we have 20 members ranging in age from their thirties to their eighties; some have been dancing for only a matter of months whilst others have many years of experience. Some members are able to attend every week; other people only come when they can fit it in.
Our club holds an annual dance in April. During the year some members attend dances run by other local clubs, from afternoon tea dances to formal balls. Usually we arrange to car share to these events when possible.
Complete beginners are welcome to dance. Your first session is free and then it’s only £3 per class.
We’re a relaxed, sociable group who think that dancing is good exercise – both physically and mentally – but above all it’s great fun!

Nearest Groups

The distances in this list are geodesic distances (“as the crow flies”) between places with dance groups, rather than road distances between dance venues. Also note that while there may be several dance groups in the same town or city, their dance venues may be distant from one another even though they are all lumped together under one marker on the map.
