Seonaid Gent provided the instructions for this dance and commented :

“Pittencrieff Panic was a group of my friends (calling themselves the Town House Posse) to celebrate my wedding to David on 8 May 2004. The reception was held in the Glen Pavillion in Pittencrief Park in Dunfermline. The Panic bit comes from the fact that it was only when they were having tea in between attending the wedding ceremony and coming to the evening reception that they realised no-one had written a dance for us.”
