The tune was inspired by frantic, early morning packing at the end of the 2014 TAC Summer School in Greeley, Colorado. Due to an unfortunate mishap with an alarm clock, Marjorie awoke to find she had 25 minutes to pack and catch the shuttle to the airport. Thanks to Judi’s determined efforts everything was tossed into the suitcase and Marjorie made it out the door – she even managed to brush her teeth!
The dance just came to the devisor one day while thinking of something totally different. It was written, so to speak, on the fly. The hope is it can be danced lightly and whimsically, as it was written. The dance and tune have found each other now.
