Devised by John after enjoying an old recording of Ghurka pipe band music. During a 64 bar arrangement of Black Bear, he could visualise a short fast dance comprising of mainly reels, and particularly the Schiehallion reels. John used an old vinyl LP but any lively 64 bars of reel music would suffice.
However, if you feel that this dance, in reel time, is a little too brisk for you, dance it as a strathspey.
