The other finalist in the 1986 Anniversary Dance Contest was this lovely Strathspey devised by George Whitehorne and "Dedicated to all Scots who, for one reason or another, left their homeland and settled in North America, bringing a ‘wee bit 0’ Scotland’ with them.’
George is an Atlanta Branch member who lives and dances in Augusta, Georgia. He and his daughter, Lucy, are a familiar and striking couple on the Southeastern Scottish Country Dance circuit.
