Three times through excerpt from a lovely demo display with two back to back sets (joined at 4th couple). One hesitation in moving up during the 2nd repeat.
In principle 1st couple should give hands when changing places up and down in bars 17-24.

This dance begins with a 16 bar fugal sequence: 1c, 4c, 2c & 3c dance successively shorter variations of it, starting down, up, down & up the set each 4 bars.

- 1c ½ turn LH to promhold facing down | dance down while 4c cross RH | cast up (3c down)
- 9–12
- 1c cross below 4pl | cast up to 3pl while 4c ½ turn LH to promhold facing up | dance up while 2c cross RH | cast off
- 13–16
- 1c ½ turn LH | 1M (1W) dance down (up) centre & each turn L about to face, 1W above 1pl, 1M below 3pl while 4c cross above 1pl | cast off to 2pl while 2c ½ turn LH | dance up & cross to 1pl, 2M (2W) turning R (L) about while 3c cross RH | cast up to 3pl
