Highland Schottische 1RR · S8
In couples round room. Ballroom hold. Men with back to centre of room. Man begins left foot, woman right foot.

- Highland Schottische setting steps in line of dance then against line of dance
- 5–6
- Common Schottische setting steps with half a turn on the hop at the end of each setting
- 7–8
- Step hop placing the free foot on the hopping leg and turning as you dance. Man may have hands on partner’s waist and she has hands on partner’s shoulders.
