Iain Boyd has this either as a 40 bar jig or 32 bar sequence. The former will apply to Children who find the 2 bar per hand grand chain tricky. He has then clap twice on first bar, and beat Rf twice on second bar.
Recommended music 32 bar sequence The Wild Geese, and The Fyket for a 40 bar one.
This is from the original book which I have.
