Simon Scott wrote to me in June 2016 saying: "You have inquired about two John Drewry dances written many years ago, one for Anne and the other for myself.
In “Anne of Gleneagles”, passing right shoulders at the end of the reel is smoother, particularly for 2M and 3L. Smooth, so long as every one in the set knows that they will dance it that way.

This is a valuable piece of information, but it is a significant change, and if two passing dancers don’t follow the same description it can result in a “middle shoulder attempted pass”. No fun. Anselm, can you advise the community on whether this change should be put in SCDDB, and how? Changing the cribs and diagrams is easy, but how to get the word around? Eric
