The SCDDB diagram is incomplete; on bar 24 it omits saying that the middle couple does not pass Lsh but finishes BtoB, forming lines of three Men and of three Women (who then chase)

You can sort-of figure that out by tracing backwards from the end of the dance; if the last figure is »turn right once round« and the one before is »half chase«, then the only way to make that work is for the men to end up together and vice versa.
However, you have a valid point; I’ll see whether I’ll get around at some point to adding this to the diagram without muddling it up too much elsewhere.

The “SCDDB contributed diagram” does not make clear that the six dancers all finish on the midline on bar 24; Keith’s diagram is clearer.
