From the Book
Bars 25-28 – 1st and 2nd Couples set on the sides with nearer hands joined and then “cross link”. This differs from “set and link” in that the 2nd couple finish in the middle of the dance in first place facing down with the woman on the man’s right, while 1st couple finish in the middle of the dance in second place facing up with the woman on the man’s left.
Bars 29-32 – 2nd and 1st couples set, facing down and up, and then “cross link” with partners to finish on own sides.

Disposition changed to »Fixed« (previously »New«)
It seems this was actually fixed ages ago but the issue was never marked as fixed. The above explanation is now in the extra info and there is a contributed crib which also explains it.
