Dear Anselm,
just since we are discouraged to touch RSCDS publications…
Ellie Briscoe had pointed to mistakes in this CD and I found that the recording in question (before: The Deuks Dang Ower my Daddie) did not match the title and spelling on the CD: “Just as I was in the Morning / The Deuks Dang Ow’er my Daddie”. Thus, I have corrected matching the recording title (excecept that I have substituted the “or” by the slash “/”).
Now my question - are corrections of the RSCDS CDs/recordings OK?
Cheers and have a nice weekend, Heiko

The ban on changes to RSCDS publications mostly applies to titles of dances in the books and publication priorities (which break things like the RSCDS Index to Dances if they’re wrong). Currently nothing depends on recordings and albums so these should be OK to change.
Incidentally, in the most recent printing of Book 19 (in the updated combined A5 edition of Books 19-24 as of November 2017) we actually got rid of “The Deuks …” as an alternative title for the dance because there is no actual historical evidence for it. (It is the name of the tune, though.) At some point this will probably merit a mention in the “Extra Info” of the dance.
