could we add in the notes I posted on youtube for this? i.e.
Jill’s Gentle Jig by Tim Wilson honors Jill Breslauer, a longtime member of the San Francisco class. The dance was written in 2001 and published in the SF Class’s book Measures of Pleasure. The first tune was written for the dance by Gary Thomas in 2007 and was published with the dance in 2007.
The rather brisk third figure is the version of ‘Double Triangles’ described Thomas Wilson (no relation to Tim) in 1811.
The conclusion of each time through should be danced with the right shoulder swirl into place as performed by Tim and Trina. Optionally, if there is time, Tim suggests swirling around each other into place. There is usually not enough time.
The band consists of Gary Thomas with Ron Wallace and Steve Wyrick. The dancers are Tim Wilson and Trina Merriman, Sylvain Pelletier with Pat Obrien, Bruce Herbold with Eileen Richey and Geoffrey Wood with Claire Hunter Chow
