Issue 1415: A Nicholson: duplicate entry?
- Object
- A Nicholson (Person)

- Description

SCDDB lists two persons , A Nicholson 3701, and A Nicholson 10085. Both wrote tunes, one pair of tune names is similar.
Can someone who has access to more information please check if this is perhaps a double entry for one person, and if so merge the second entry into the first?
Thanks. Eric

The only thing I can find remotely related to “A Nicholson” and Shetland is a musician called “Arthur Nicholson”, yet I do not find any of the three tunes to be connected to him. To me it seems almost impossible to research such a shortened entry, yet alone finding out if those are duplicates. Any ideas?

No ideas. Although its satisfying to close issues, sometimes if there is really not enough information its best just to leave it for now.

Someone has now given A Nicholson 3701 the tag (shetland). It seems someone has seen that the two entries are for two persons. We consider this issue as FIXED. If you disagree please open it again.
