I’m preparing a lesson on the dances from the Menzies MS 1749. This dance does not appear in the MS. Book 7 attributes this as “A Perthshire dance. Collected in the Borders”.
There are five dances in Book 7 which do appear in the Menzies MS: Ye’re Welcome, Charly Stuart The Priest and His Books Ye’ll Aye Be Welcome Back Again Lady Mary Menzies’ Reel The Menzies’ Rant
And, of course, the RSCDS published a number of other dances from the MS, but the Braes of Tulliemet should not be attributed to that source.

Deviser set to “(unknown)”. The source information has been added as “Extra Info”. Perhaps someone who has a copy of this MS could check all the entries. Perhaps there are other dances in the MS that are not yet listed as such in SCDDB. Many thanks, Marjorie. Eric
