Issue 1668: composer attributed for named tune on recording

Assigned to
Murrough Landon
Priority
Normal
Disposition

Description

The named tune for ‘The Blithest Lass that ever was seen’ is given as Miss Susan Inglis, composed by Nan Main however on the recording section the tune is listed as by Muriel Johnstone, rather than Nan Main I think this is because there are two tunes of the same name, the other one being for the Oriel Strathspey and this one is composed by Muriel Having listened to the recordings clips of both, the tunes are definitely different

Thanks. I have updated the recording http://my.strathspey.org/dd/recording/21/ to link to the Miss Susan Inglis tune by Nan Main (http://my.strathspey.org/dd/tune/8177/) and added a note to this issue.
