Description: GUS’S REEL (R5 X 40) Rob Sargent Tullich Collection 1.8 1s & 3s dance down for 3, back for 3 and cast off 1 place. 2s & 4s step up on 7 & 8. 9-16 1s & 3s dance a fig of 8 – 1s round 2s and 3s round 4s. 2,1,4,3, 5. 17-20 1s & 3s dance Rhands across once round and continue straight into bars 21-24. 21-24 1s & 3s dance a slow Rhand turn (4 bars) with partners. 1s finish facing ladies’ side in 2nd place, 1L in front of her partner. 3s continue moving up to 3rd place as 4s step down 1 place on 23 & 24. 2,1,3,4,5. 25-32 1s with 1L leading cast off round 3L, cross over (3s step up on 27 & 28) and dance behind 4M & 5M.
1s finish in 5th place on own sides of the dance. 2,3,4,5,1 On 27-32 (6 bars) 4s & 5s dance Rhands across once round ending up 1 place.
33-40 Couples in 1st & 2nd places circle 4 hand round and back. Couples in 3rd, 4th & 5th places circle 6 hands round and back. 2,3,4,5,1. Repeat from new positions. Last time through all dance 10 hands round and back.
