Hi Anselm,
The first two editions of SCD in Diagrams were published by F.L. Pilling, but all following editions were published by F.L. Pilling’s Successors (even though they put F.L.'s name on the title page).
Given that you don’t have entries in the database for the first two editions, this “person” should be F.L. Pilling’s Successors.

The database does not really handle changing membership over time of people in a group represented by a person record. I imagine this entry is intended as a catchall for the original FL Pilling only and the subsequent successors team. This seems reasonable to me so I have left the name unchanged - but I will assign this to Anselm in case he feels otherwise.
