Issue 2102: Major Ian Stewart: Nicol McLaren

Object
Major Ian Stewart (Recording)
Submitter
Finlay Forbes
Assigned to
Heiko Schmidt
Priority
Normal
Disposition
Fixed
Description

According to the website “All Celtic Music” Nicol McLaren’s tunes for this dance are:

The Scottish Horse The Top o’ Ben Lomond Stoneypath Tower (Jim Johnstone) and The Family Pride (Lindsay Ross)

I have not heard the track so I cannot vouch for the absence of misprints, which seem to plague recordings of Scottish dance music.

Thank you for pointing the out - seemingly the tunes were only entered for the first few dances and not completed. I used the All Celtic Music entry to also complete the tunes of the remaining recordings of the “Note ‘N’ Away” CD.

Unfortunately, the composers are not listed in their. Hence, I had to enter some of the tunes with composer “(unknown)”. If some of the editors have the CD, could you please check and add the composers?

Cheers, Heiko
