Recording: #1815 “The Silver Rose” from Something to Celebrate by The Lothian Scottish Dance Band.
Notes: Queenslanders have a reputation for having an easy-going lifestyle, in a state that is “beautiful one day–perfect the next”. This is a friendly, fun dance to reflect our way of life. May also be danced in Strathspey time. Suitable music would be “Ross Meor” from Book 29. Music for Ten Traditional Dances by Bobby Crowe and his Scottish Dance Band.
