In 1910 the name was changed into The Transvaal Scottish. In Otober 1927, the Transvaal Scottish was affiliated to The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment).
Bill Clement Bill Clement served in The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) from May 1942 to April 1947; he joined the 10th Battalion Pipe Band in January 1943 and was acting Pipe-Major from January 1946. He joined the Atholl Highlanders in October 1947.
just in case: according to Aad Boode: as the dance – the tune by Bill Clement was also composed in 2002.
