Description

According to SCDDB under D. Hahm there is only one dance (Yksi Kaksi Kolme) without a link! According to the Celtic Circle the SCDGroup Bielefeld – to which he (and Flachmann and Röhricht) belong(ed) – only has a contact address today. see also earlier issue. But on 4-9-2001 they had the website http://www.anja-roeben.de/Scd.htm with 5 dances by DIETMAR Hahm. First name not yet in SCDDB. The way back machine could only help in a.o. the year 2002 (not 2001) for Yksi Kaksi Kolme: http://www.anja-roeben.de/YksiKaksiKolme.htm And also gave -besides Anja Flachmann’s Turning Hands http://www.anja-roeben.de/TurningHands.htm also a dance by Rik de Vroome from the Netherland : Verl Girl http://www.anja-roeben.de/VerlGirl.htm

For the other 4 Hahm dances I have prints on paper of La rose – Str 64 bars 4C longwise (“explode’ -after 32bars- ‘to square formation’ (as diagram says) and the dance finishes with the men in theenter sttanding back to back and the ladies on the outside facing their partners. One through. The bonny Lass of Bielefeld – Str 32 bars 3C The Rights and the Lefts – Reel 40 bar, 4 C in longwise set The Ring, a tribute to R.W. – 48 bars Str, 48 bars Reel Square set.

Disposition changed to »Accepted« (previously »New«)

Hi Wanda, I changed Dietmar Hahm’s name accordingly (internally his first name was fully registered, but not displayed). I added the online resource for his dance and the one for Rik de Vroome.
If you wish you can send scans of the dances missing to scddb-submissions@strathspey.org and we try to feature them in due time. Please refer to issue number 2570 in your mail text so we can associate the topics a bit better. Thanks!
