This one is tricky and requires a lot of work as we talk about a “collection of publications”.
First of all, our entry of “Originally Ours” show no “volume” number. Most likely, this is identical with the (re-edited?) version of “Originally Ours, Vol. 1” which is now revised again. “Volume 2” seems to incorporate other stuff. I am just mentioning it as the descriptions slightly indicate the original “Originally Ours” has been split somehow which I think is not the case.
Question is: how do we deal with such stuff? Are we introducing a new “Vol 1” (copied) entry for our existing entry, and if we add Vol 2, do we really really have to enter all the tunes again (several hundred) that are already connected to the original publications that are in this collection? Or can we link this collection to their original publications to save time and energy?

I suspect the policy may vary a little case by case. For revised editions which have only slightly modifications we would generally keep the same publication entry and just add a note.

In other cases where republication is a real split and reorganisation we do normally add separate publication entries (see for example single volume Miss Milligan’s Miscellany which also exists split into Volumes 1 & 2).

To start with these split Originally Ours publications could just have a link to the original single volume and (if its that simple) a note saying the new volume 1 has tunes 1-N from the original. Or that its just a “stub entry” and details are still to be filled in on a best effort basis at some point in the future. If there are really several hundred tunes that could be a long time in the future but it may still be useful to know about the separate publications.

Okay… I think I could perhaps add the publication, as long as I have a digital copy of it or at least the full list of tunes that is in the book. Can someone provide this?
