- Description

In the Pillings for Blue Sky, Yellow Sun, the indication is that the ladies dance straight up or down (2L down, 3L up) into the half men’s chain on bars 25-26. However, the directions specify that the ladies CAST into partner’s place. It seems that a curved arrow should be used to indicate casting instead of a straight arrow indicating dance straight up/down.

Im assigning to Keith. Harry is of course right that when I devised the dance I did specify the women cast into the mens chain. Whether thats a detail Keith would normally show on the diagram Im not sure - but adding arrows would be clearer. Personally Im happy for Keith to choose what he thinks is best (and consistent with his style for other dances).
