As it stands, the crib says “1-8 - 1s cross RH, cast 1 place, cross LH & cast round 4th corner to face 1st corners”; according to the published version in the Diamond Jubilee Collection of RSCDS Inverness and District Branch), this should be “1-8 - 1s turn RH, cast 1 place & turn LH (4 bars) to face 1st corners”.
