Issue 310: Wrong clip

Priority

Description

In trying to find a particular recording of General Stuart’s Reel, I was listening to the different clips that were available. The one of Stan Hamilton and the Flying Scotsmen that is listed as General Stuart’s Reel is Duke of Perth (and if it’s not Duke of Perth, it sure doesn’t sound like Gen. Stuart). Thanks for maintaining this great database, it is very helpful.

The easiest place to see this error is at http://my.strathspey.org/dd/tune/1672/

The recording for “Stan Hamilton and his Flying Scotsmen” at http://my.strathspey.org/dd/recording/1881/ is marked as starting with the tune “The Stuart’s Rant/” but the tune of the clip is in fact “The Duke of Perth”; it sounds identical to their clip for “the Duke of Perth” at http://my.strathspey.org/dd/recording/2087/

It could well be that the SCDDB tune information is correct, and only the wrong clip has been appended.

Am assigning this issue to Anselm as he is best placed to check this clip. Eric
