Description

Aldebaran (Dance)+ my Dance List D230624 Sterbfritz Next to the dance name there are 2 icons. I believe 1 for cribs and 1 for diagrams. Unfortunately I do not see a diagram of the dance. Nor does one appear in the 2 column list. Thank you for your kind answer. Kindest regards Peter

The diagram for “Aldebaran” is among Viktor’s diagrams, which for the time being you need to enable explicitly. Go to the “Database” tab on your profile page (accessible from the pulldown menu in the top right corner of any database page) and in the “Diagram Order” box (the lower of the two), drag “Viktor’s Diagrams” from the “Available (but unused)” into the “Enabled” column, and click on “Save”.

I’ll see about enabling Viktor’s diagrams by default; this is something I meant to do for the longest time but it appears to have slipped my mind.

The icon row for dances doesn’t take one’s crib source and diagram source preferences into account because that would be terribly inefficient. So if there’s an icon for a diagram visible that doesn’t necessarily mean one will get to see the actual diagram, because it might be in a disabled source. This situation is somewhat unfortunate because one has no way of telling which of the disabled diagram sources actually contains the diagram that one can’t see; the best option would probably be to enable all of them by default and let people reorder them or disable the ones they (for whatever reason) don’t like. (The situation for cribs is similar.)
