Description

This tune by Marian Anderson has a (correct) entry as Forrest Hill Road. This is the road in Auckland where Ian & Yvonne Gray lived, and the tune is the lead tune for The Two Gray Cats by Francis Walduck. In the recording details for the dance, the tune is incorrectly shown with only one r in Forrest.

Thanks. It took me a while to work out that you meant we had two separate tune entries: #12663 spelled “Forrest” and #12728 misspelled as “Forest”.

The former is linked to the recording Barry & Doreen’s Continental Capers (#9386) whereas the latter was linked to The Two Gray Cats (#9395) and also specified as the tune for the dance Nick the Trumpet (#16907).

I have now added a (mis)spelling alias for the “Forrest” tune (#12663) and linked that to the recording and dance previously using “Forest” (#12728) which should be deleted.
