Thanks. I updated the composer name to Alex MacKenzie.
Then, as usual when dealing with music corrections, I discovered a few other issues.
We have two tune entries called “The Hiking Song”. This one (https://my.strathspey.org/dd/tune/695/) was previously attributed just to Alex MacKenzie. There is also https://my.strathspey.org/dd/tune/6688/ which was attributed to “Alec Rankin”. A quick search confirms that should be “Alex” as Amanda reported, not “Alec”.
So I have updated that as well. I also created a group person for the pair of them and have now assigned the two of them as composer of tune #695.
I think it is safe to delete tune #6688 but will wait for any comments before doing that.
