Bobby Brown’s “Any good tune…” album contains a selection of jigs that leads off with “David Tague’s Whistler.” I don’t know if David authorized or requested this tune but clearly it was intended for his dance “The Whistler Jig” of which I am a fan. I think it would be a service (albeit an obscure one) to identify that there is a recording for the dance.
