This is the same tunes as Rock Valley Jig (https://my.strathspey.org/dd/tune/1872/). I checked that the recordings of:
- Sixtieth Celebrations, by Sandy Nixon and his Scottish Dance Band
- The Luckenbooth Brooch, by Alasdair Fraser & Muriel Johnstone
match when it comes to this tune.

Thanks Niols. As this, doubtless duplicate entry, is the one marked as published in the Glasgow 100th anniversary book, do you happen to have that to check as well?

Hi Murrough. Yes, I did look in the Glasgow 100th anniversary book (I don’t own it but Mervyn Short sent me a picture of the tune). It is definitely the same tune, although in an unexpected variant that I hadn’t seen or heard before.

Thanks for confirming. I have now updated the two recordings and the Glasgow publication to refer to tune #1872. And I have deleted #12099.
