Dear Stephen,

do you have any reference that the dance “The Swan and the Tay” was actually written in 2010? The booklet 800 was published that year, but this only an upper bound on the actual year the dance was created. As the year in the dance entry is referring to the date of creation, it is typically left blank if the date is not stated anywhere explicitly. If you have any additional information, I am eager to learn. Best wishes, Heiko

With the information of Stephen (by email), that the set of dances originated from a competition of dances or written to celebrate this anniversary, I decided to set the year of creation of the 4 dances in “Perth 800” to the publication year. In this scenario it is unlikely that any of the dances was written years before the official presentation in 2010.

Any objections?

Cheers, Heiko
