There appears to be an inconsistency between bars 16 & 17. How do the ones get below the threes in zero time?

The Birl (Bourrel) is a progressive figure, here done by 1c+3c. Both couples turn BH 3/4 at the end, and would finish 3c above 1c. If they turn a little further, they can form the diagonal for starting the half poussette.
I have added detail and a crib to the dance page. Eric

OOPS. I missed the error in the diagram. It is 1c+3c who dance the Birl, not 2c+1c. Finish (2,3,1). Diagram needs fixing. Eric
