Description

I am seeking sample videos for my class in relation to an upcoming Social Dance. John Drewry was very particular to note when dancers should take hands while dancing a reel. In the Silver City Book he gave the instructions for Jennifer’s Jig but referred dancers to Mrs Macpherson of Inveran in the Bon Accord book for instructions on an Inveran Reel. He did not ask dancers to take hand. I have never seen or danced this dance with dancers giving hands. I have only signed up for this website today so am not yet familiar with the system. I’m wondering if a note re correct way to dance the reel should/could be added. Thanks Julia

I have added comments to the videos in question to the effect that taking hands during the reels isn’t in the original instructions. Thank you for pointing this out.
