Description

The dance is listed as a reel, which is correct with my version of the book. But: as the minicrib version AND the Cribs in the database state it is a MEDLEY, it has been adopted as such by other sites (f.e. http://www.scottish-country-dancing-dictionary.com/dance-crib/market-square.html)

And it has been used as a medley on at least 2 ball programs: http://www.bridportscottishdancers.org.uk/Ball2015/20thAnniversaryBallflyer.pdf And our own Ball in Cologne 26.9.2015

I don’t know why the Medley version came up, maybe it was wishful thinking by someone or an official variation during a workshop, who knows? But I think it could be worth a comment - or a variation in the cribs or something like that.

Greetings Anja

PS: Warum schreibe ich das eigentlich auf englisch…
