Issue 839: Wrong progression given for Light Hearted Una?

Description

The progression listed on the main page for Light Hearted Una is “52341” (http://my.strathspey.org/dd/dance/15586/). Assuming I havent completely misunderstood the convention, this seems wrong to me as 234 do not move. Looking at the minicrib and video I think the correct progression is “53412”.

Given the database knows how many couples the dance is for, I wonder if the editing part of the database software could automatically at least question a progression string that apparently leaves some couples unprogressed? Though I suspect there are enough odd dances for there to be exceptions to any rule.

Good catch. I fixed the database entry to reflect the correct progression.

It’s probably worth looking at which other dances use the “52341” progression, which doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. Your suggestion to check whether the progression is plausible given the number of couples involved in a dance is a good one, and I shall look into providing that within the framework.

It turns out that this dance was the only one in the database to use the “52341” progression code. Since that progression doesn’t make a lot of sense, I’ve removed it from the list of progression codes. If ever a dance shows up that actually follows that progression (presumably a 2x32 bar dance that is pretty boring for the middle couples) we can add it back.
