Publication The Freiburg Corona Collection 1557

This collection of dances was devised for the Freiburg Scottish Country Dancers. It developed during the first weeks after the lockdown in Germany was over, when dancing classes were possible again. All dances share the same feature – no giving of hands is needed, so they comply with the basic hygiene and keep-your-distance rules issued by the government. Some of the dances contain formations, however, that actually require the giving of hands. So whenever the pandemic is over, they can be danced ‘properly’ as well.
