The original edition was published by James Hunter in 1979.
In 1988 Alasdair and William Hardy have edited and corrected the 1st edition to to produce fully-bowed versions of all the 365 melodies, to correct mistakes and oversights from the 1st edition and finally to clarify that all-important ingredient in this music - the ornamentation. (rf. the Preface to the New Edition of 1988)
The 1988 version was published by the Hardy Press, and there were reprints at least 1992, 1995 and 2001.
