This was originally entered in SCDDB as “Aways my Heart that we mun sunder”. However issue 3501 gives the correct title as “A ways my Heart that we mun sunder” which was 17th century and dialect spelling for Oh woe is my heart that we must part, a Scottish tune popular in the 1600’s and early 1700’s.

The original SCDDB title is kept as a (mis)spelling alias.

NB the “A” at the start of the title is for “Oh”, not the indefinite article, so it belongs at the front and the title should be indexed under “A”.
