This tune is a reel (see https://tunearch.org/wiki/Lady_Charlotte_Murray_(2)) and is not to be confused with Lady Charlotte Murray's Favourite Jig which is a reel. There is also a strathspey tune of the same name.
SCDDB originally claimed this tune was composed by Niel Gow. However the Traditional Tune Archive says its by Daniel Dow. Whereas the book Old Scottish Music collected and adapted for SCD seems to ascribe it to Annie Shand. Assuming that the Traditional Tune Archive is the most reliable source this tune is now assigned to Daniel Dow.
