A dance for Elizabeth and John of the Stanford Class, California. Elizabeth suggested the title from the Njal’s Saga, when the hero Gunnar says, “Never have the slopes of Hlidarendi seemed so fair to me. I shall stay and not go into exile, come what may.” Hlidarendi is pronounced Hleether-endee.
