Originally published in 1822 by Nathaniel Gow as a 24 bar dance and named after Sir Walter Scott’s historical novel Kenilworth. Reconstructed by the RSCDS in 2021 to mark the 250th anniversary of Sir Walter’s birth. Bars 25–32 have been added for those dancers who prefer 32 bar dances.
