When I got diagnosed with cancer, the news spread quickly among the scd groups of the surrounding area, and I received a lot of lovely supporting messages from scd dancers. Also, a friend of mine told me to imagine myself dancing once I had recovered, and before that, dancing a not too energetic dance once I had only partly recovered, so that my brain would help me recover. All this gave me the idea to devise new dances and this was the first one, aimed for the period on the way to recovery. I sent the instructions to all those who had written to me, and I received videos from three groups dancing this dance (Méaudre, Grenoble and Lyon), and it was just wonderful to watch these in my hospital bed.
The dancer in remission starts in first place, this is why the 1st couple dance less than the others (no turn at the end), they have to save energy and enter the dance progressively.
