This dance is dedicated to Christopher Duigan, one of South Africa’s leading concert pianists, whose twice-weekly livestream concerts from his home studio in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, were my link to sanity and serenity during the long and lonely months of aloneness in the COVJD-19 pandemic lockdown (27 March 2020 to 4 April 2022) and continue to be an immense source of joy for me.
