Devised for Rudolf Goerlich-Hansen, the founder of the SCD Lueneburg group, on the occasion of the group’s 10 year anniversary. The name of the dance pays tribute to me repeatedly misspelling his name as ‘Rudolph’ when I first joined the group, until he finally corrected me and exclaimed exasperatedly: “I’m not a reindeer, you know”. We will miss you, Rudolf!
