You correctly list the tune “Return from India” as suggested for my dance “Magic of Merrill”. But you don’t warn your users that “Return from India” exists in two quite different versions! The version in Kerr, which you reference, is NOT the one that I suggest for “Magic of Merrill”. Instead, I suggest the Cape Breton version, as published, for example, on page 7 of the 5th edition of “Jerry Holland’s Fiddle Tunes”. The most important distinction between the two versions is that the A and B parts are swapped; but there are other differences as well. Perhaps you should enter the two versions of “Return from India” as two different tunes in your database; perhaps: “Return from India, Kerr version” and “Return from India, Jerry Holland version”.

I have added a comment on the two different versions, Kerr and Hollande (Cape Breton).
The 4 recordings that I have use the Cape Breton version (Hollande):
Magic of Merrill (Reel of Seven);
Magic of Merrill (Ramshaw…);
Suitable for Barmkin (Terpsicore);
Remaking the Circle (various artists).
