Composed by
Traditional
Published in
Notes

This tune exists in two versions, one published in Kerr's Collection of Merry Melodies and one popular in Cape Breton and published, e.g., in Jerry Holland's Collection of Fiddle Tunes. The most notable difference between the two is that the A part of the Cape Breton version corresponds to the B part of the Kerr's version and vice versa.

Most if not all of the recordings of this tune are of the Cape Breton version.
