Repeat from new places, but in the second round, for Bars 9–14, Partner 2 leads the chase down behind their own sides to dance below 3s, and casts up behind their opposite side to 2nd place, while Partner 1 dances up the middle to 2nd place opposite side.

Couples decide independently who will be Partner 1 and Partner 2.

On the final two bars of the second round, 1s can cross down to the bottom of the set while 3s can dance up a place to begin the next round.

This dance was devised for a first class back after a hiatus due to Covid and avoids taking hands. If dancers are now comfortable taking hands in setting or changing places, they may! If dancers prefer not to take hands and instead hold champagne glasses, they may clink between the advance and the retire!
