Lara Friedman-Shedlov on Trip to Gatlinburg (dance)

This dance has a very satisfying flow from one figure to the next and a very clever, yet easy progression.

Lara Friedman-Shedlov on A Trip to Bavaria (dance)

I’d like it better with different music.

Lara Friedman-Shedlov on Rice and Lefse (dance)

Devised as a dance with three different forms of rights and lefts. “Rice and Lefse” (lefse is a Norwegian potato-based flatbread popular in my home state of Minnesota) is a play on “rights and lefts.”

Lara Friedman-Shedlov on Fireworks (dance)

Mentally challenging but rewarding and makes an impressive demo dance.

Lara Friedman-Shedlov on Bonnie Anne (dance)

64 bars of pas de Basque was never so much fun! Great tune, too.

Anselm Lingnau on Bonnie Stronshiray (dance)

I like this dance because it offers great opportunities for the dancers to work together as a team. It also has lots of »moments« for the first couple, and the music is very nice. I would particularly recommend the »Fiddlesticks and Ivory« recording for this dance.
